Nice big secure field, my 5 dogs love it. Nice shaded spots and shelters. I live in Taunton so only a stone throw away. Found it 1st time with Google sat navigation. We've been twice now.

I really enjoy this dog field. But today i wasn’t very happy with the person who had booked after me. They arrived early which was fine. But left the outer gate open, the 3 children were playing in the parking area again ok. But when you have 2 dogs ,1 that can be temperamental around people he doesn’t know. Made me feel a little on edge , also they didn’t wait for me to get my dogs safely in the car before getting there dog out of there car. I understand that it was fun for the children to be taking there dog out for a run. But I might think twice before I book this field again. Pity because it is a nice area. Since i posted this review the owner of the field has kindly contacted me . And has reassured me that she under stood how i felt and has spoken with the other person. I am more the happy to recommend the field .

I was really impressed with the facilities at Five Acres. Lots of seating areas, water bowls dotted around, poo bins & general waste and very unusual to have customer toilet. It was tidy & well maintained, the only downside was a couple of old dog poos that hadn’t been picked up (despite bags & bins being provided 🙄!) We had a lovely relaxed session there. Thank you!

I brought my dog to Five Acres this evening and we had a lovely little walk! I love that I could book a small slot of 25 minutes at a reduced price to a normal 1 hour slot. I have a french bulldog that can't be off lead in open spaces and also doesn't need huge amounts of walking. So this was ideal! The facilities are great! Water for the dogs, hand washing, toilet, sheltered seating and even a shower to wash down your dog! My Frenchie has lymphoma and I'm glad we've found a space she can run free for such a great price!

We booked this field to use whilst on holiday. We nearly didn't go because it turned out to be mega-hot. But the field was perfect. It was totally secure, there were three shady shelters, and best of all there was actually a dog washing sink in one of the shelters! We were able to soak the dogs with cold water at the start and finish of their visit. Five stars!

Client Feedback

“You’d have to be barking not to take your dog to this field”

Prof. Steve McWoofington

Prof. Steve McWoofington

Whilst it is important to seek human feedback, we haven’t forgotten whose opinion matters the most and so we interviewed Prof. Steve McWoofington who is an experienced and well respected dog field inspector. During Steve’s long & distinguished career he has also worked in the film industry, you may have seen him in Jurassic Bark, Hound of the Baskervilles, Saving Private Bark, Zero Bark 30, Pup fiction, Mutt Ado About Nothing and The Bone Collector. Now retired from the film industry Steve has set up a consultancy business and spends his time inspecting fields.

We interviewed Steve about what he loves about Five Acres Dog Field and we whole-heartedly believe in everything he says. Steve awarded us 5/5 paws in his satisfaction feedback survey. Thanks Prof. Steve for this  Pawfect review!
